Wifi causing phone to restart

Hey, following on from the earlier post about Wifi here, I've found that my N95 was rebooting when I was trying to browse the internet on Wifi. It works fine on my home network, but when I tried it out in university, it wouldn't work. Accessing emails was fine though. Anyone else had a similar problem?

Do either networks have some type of encryption?

My home network does and the phone works absolutely fine. The university network is an open network. I can choose to browse using the network, however as soon as the page starts loading the phone turns itself off. Hmm...

Similar problem to what I was having - see my earlier posts. Try not having an access point set up for any wifi networks. When you find a wifi network you want to use, press the centre button to connect and not the left button. This way, it does not appear to automatically create an access point each time.

Still might not solve your problem but I had less trouble when I did this.

my phone sometimes reboots when i had just sent a mms or txt, and sometimes when i'm browing the web thru my home network (AT&T - MEdiaNet). Any explanations would be greatly appreciated.

i get this problem sometimes, too. when i use wifi (from home) my phone slows down and though i exit the browser or profimail the wifi icon is still there so i just have to reboot it.
