Press *#0000# and give us whatever is on your screen

A phone reset would most likely solve that.

To back up your data
Press the Application Button, go to Tools> Utilities> Memory> Options> Back up phone memory

Wait for a while for the backup to complete.

To back up your contacts
Go to the Contacts Menu> Options> Mark All> Options> Copy> To memory card

You can use any usb cable that has the mini-usb connector. Preferably if you could do a backup via Nokia PC Suite to your PC aswell. Furthermore using the Content Copier to backup via PC Suite would be customisable and have more options.

To perform a reset
Key in on the phone idle screen:
*#7780# .......... Factory Reset (Phone Settings)

If you're unable to do so, try keying in:
*#7370# .......... Format phone...[Hard-Reset/Phone Reformat]

If all else fails, another way to do a phone reformat would be to power off phone. Press and hold Green, * and 3 and keep them held whilst powering on and for a few seconds after.

If you're asked for any security code or PIN2, the default should be 1234 or 12345 unless you've changed them.

After the reset is successful, restore the phone backup. If you don't want to risk it or the same problem persists, you can just restore you contacts.

However if your phone is new as in there's not much in there, and you're still on an old firmware, you could skip the above process and dive in straight to updating your phone. Check out http://www.n95users.com/forum/genera...-n95-tips.html for more details.

I bet you're running an earlier version of the firmware. It's the phone's RAM that keeps running out, it has nothing to do with what's on the phones's inbuilt 120mb or your memory card. The only way to cure this is to upgrade to either V20 or V21 of the firmware and I guarantee you'll never see this error message again. Look at the tips at the top of every page and you'll hopefully soon figure out what's required. It'll take half an hour or so and some nerves, but it's certainly worth it
