PC Suite woes!
Right - for some reason my PC is not recognising my phone. I have tried installing the updated PC Suite from the Nokia website and still no joy. When I connect the phone, the options to conect via pc suite/mass storage/etc. comes up on the screen. My PC then tries to install drivers for the new hardware and fails.
I've tried a complete uninstall and reinstall and a system restore to some point last week. I have also tried connecting the phone in mass storage mode using the same cable to an ibook, and it works fine. I've checked other forums, and no one seems to be dealing with a similar problem - anyone here come across it?

Update
Seems to be working fine now. The install package doesn't seem to install the cable drivers properly and it had to be done manually. Was starting to get worried my N95 was broken!

Hmmm
maybe spoke too soon. PC Suite is working fine, but for some reason mass storage isn't. Never mind - I'm sure I'll get there!

I don't want to start a new thread for this, but has anyone had any trouble enabling mass sotrage mode? I connect it to my PC, choose mass storage and my PC is unable to recognise it. In device manager it says N95 with a yellow question mark next to it which makes me think that it can't find the appropriate drivers - any suggestions anyone?

Can you tell us what version of Windows and are you running latest PC suite?
Try these steps: 1: Try changing USB port. Driver installs are remembered on a per port basis. 2. In Device Manager, right click and uninstall the Mass Storage Device, then unplug the phone, and try again. 3. Re-install PC Suite. 4. Verify other mass storage devices are working such as a usb key or external hard drive. 5. On your N95, check your 'Default Mode' under: Tools -> Settings -> Connections -> USB. Make sure 'Ask on connection' is set to 'Yes'. Let us know how that goes and we can take it from there

Hi, thanks for the advice. I should have posted to say I actually got it sorted out over the weekend. I have no idea what was going wrong with it. Hopefully it'll keep working!
