Angry Text messaging

Hi my name is Kathy, I have had my N95 for 4-5 months now and have recently started having problems with text (SMS) messaging.

My partner text me everyday at same time, and recently I have not been receicing his messages for almost 3 hours and he cannot get through if he calls on the phone either. I also have problems when I send a message, the other person gets it, I know as they call me to tell me they are sending one, and again I am not receiving the message back for some hours, any ideas?

might be wrong here, but i'm assuming your on orange, and not o2?...

anyways, if i'm wrong, still try doing the following....

Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone > Network > then change network mode to GSM and not Dual.
i know dual trys to lock onto the 3G network, and if it's unable to lock onto this network, it just gives you a crap signal and means people can't get through...

this might be the problem. it worked for my sisters phone, and my old k800I.

should work on the nokia, good luck!

Wink Text messaging

Hi,

Many thanx for the info I am on T-Mobile, hopefully that shouldn't make a difference, I have change to GSM and I know what you mean about the dual mode it was searching for that all the time and if I try to make a call I have to try 3 or 4 times before it connects, hopefully this will sort it out.

Thanx Again Kathy
