Brand new n95 won't remove deleted tunes from Music Player.

I have deleted some tracks from my music player using the nokia pc suite, but they still show up in the library, so i deleted them manually on the phone. However, the Album and Artist still show up in the library, even know there are no songs in the folders.

I have tried refreshing the music player, to no avail.

Music Player Refresh
1) Connect the phone in "Data transfer" mode to your PC.
2) Delete the two files in "E:\private\101FFC31" ( called "mpxv1.mpd" and "pcv5.mpd" ).
3) Delete the one file in "E:\private\101ffca9" ( called "harvesterdb.dat" ).
4) Disconnect the phone from the PC and run the Music Player on the phone.
5) Wait a while for the app to startup. It will be rebuilding the library......
6) Just to be sure, select "Refresh".

This will rebuild your music library entirely from scratch.

Go for a hard reset and try again, might help. If the phone's brand new hopefully you won't have too much apps to lose.

Just to be sure - you are trying to delete only the files "mpxv1.mpd" and "pcv5.mpd" and "harvesterdb.dat" , not the folders that they are in ?

Try removing your memory card. Use a card reader instead and delete those files.
