How can you replace the keypad?

I've only had my N95 a few weeks but I've noticed I'm scratching the 2 and 4 on the keypad when texting. I've found a replacement keypad but need to know how to fit it without wrecking the phone! Any help would be appreciated

The keypad comes off with a small screwdriver in the corner, it just pings off. Replace with the new one and it will click into place.

Welcome to the forums.! Replacing the key pad is quite easy. Checkout the TIPS tab at the top of the page, and you will come across a guide on dismantling your N95. Once your front fascia, and scree is removed after removing 4 screws, the keypad just pops out, and the new one clicks into place.(This is the way I would do it, but know it can probably be done without removing the front)

To find your Nokia Firmware version, key *#0000#. The V##.#.### shown is your current Firmware! Please add these details with Nokia model to your profile. This information will help others help you. Thank you.!

Yep I have nails lol didn't realise what damage I could do before I got this phone though lol. Am sure I don't text differently to how I did with the N73!

Thanks for all the tips everyone

My keypad is rubbing off the silvering on some buttons as well, and after just 2 months, i'm going to play on a warranty claim, as wear and tear is one thing, rubbing off after 1000 texts is another. Unfit for purpose, FOC please...
