My n95-1 screen flicker (please help urgent)

Hi everyone,

I had my n95 for six months now. I just updated the firmware two weeks ago.but am not sure what's the problem exactly.but am sure it's not something loose inside.if i have a black theme i dot get the flickers in color. if i put a colorful themes like "Vista blues tripes", it flickers a lot.when it flickers i mean the red color turn into pink and it goes on back and forth.there's nothing loose inside.When it happens i press near the screen or shake the mobile to see if theres a loose conection but it doesnt turn back, only when i press a button it recovers.

It's becoming a pain now, i don;t know whats wrong with it, and am on a small island and here n95 not many people have it, no one is able to help me, i just want some advise on how i could deal with that. i tried to format but it didn't work. I ve read that i cannot restore my old firmware.i wont know if that would be the problem unless i restore the first firmware.

anyway, let me know what you guys think of it.

Welcome to the forums.! Would it be possible for you to take a short video to show whats happening? It sounds like the LCD maybe on its way out.

hey thanx, it seems its ok now.i once remove the cover to see how to change it. but nothing was loose. i got my new cover and put it on and it did the same. all i did after that, is press on the botom right of the lcd until it stops. at the back of the lcd i noticed there was some contacts but was not sure for what it was. it seems it was for that. but its still on test. am still checking. buy the way, when i open the camera slide too it did the same.my pictures flicker. but its ok now.

hey, now it's doing the same thing. how can i post a smal clip to show you how the lcd is doing? let me know urgent please

Do you have a digital camera at all? One that can take videos?

If you do, film a short clip using your camera, showing the fault, then upload to a hosting site.
