Update: Carphone Warhouse have no idea whats happened and phone has now been returned to Nokia to see if they can fix it.

Hi UncleBlob, firstly I recommend you making an introduction to the forum.

Secondly, I recommend having your own thread in the correct section, as opposed to multiple posts and tailing another thread, you may not get the full views you need to resolve the issue.

Seeing as the phone has been returned to Nokia, you're best waiting for it to be returned with what's happened, rather than asking for help on a phone that's already been sent away.
