Server is Busy error message

About a week ago I was playing around and came across the option within Messaging to specify where messages are stored. Ever keen to save space on the phone, I selected the memory card. No problems there.

When I connected the phone in Data Transfer mode now and connected to the PC I got an error saying that Messaging is using the Memory Card. So I went along to reverse what I had done but when I do so, I get an error "Server is Busy." I've tried the following with no joy:
1. Rebooted phone
2. Deleted messages from phone

Has anyone had this problem before?

I may have fix

I had the same problem. I turned the phone to Offline and then was able to switch back to phone memory for message storage. I noticed that messaging on my 95-4 is alot faster if storage is on the phone memory.

Anyone know how to copy all the messages from Card to phone? I did the same and now I've got 1000 messages stuck on the card that I can't move back.

I can switch between card and phone fine.

Why would you want to do that ? This will slow down your phone and eventually lead to "Out of memory" errors and application shutdowns.

Otherwise try with the latest PC Suite (or OVI Suite, which I haven't tested yet). There is also an application called NOKI which seems to do all you want to do with messages on your phone, google it.

My "backup" phone is a Constellation.

Because I want to be able to view all my messages and not have to switch between phone/card everytime I plug the phone into the PC.

Will check your suggestions cheers :)
