GPS displaying wrong position..
Hello -
I'm sorry that my first post on these forums is a request for help, but it's an issue for me. Whenever I load up the GPS application, and then press the GPS Pos(ition) button - presumably it finds my current location- it displays me as somewhere in Germany. This is untrue, yet it does not seem to change. Am I meant to simply leave it for 20 minutes or something, or what? Thankyou. |

Obtaining a lock wont be immediate, and you can search here for more information on obtaining a GPS lock: http://www.n95users.com/forum/its-br...read-here.html

When you start the Maps applications, it will position you where you were the last time you had a Satellite lock.
You need to wait for the Satellite to Lock On and find your current location. If it still shows the wrong location after a Satellite Lock, delete the Maps and re-download them using Nokia MapLoader |
