Unexplainable Packet Data Connection Not Available Error

Hi all,

I have been struggling for the last few days with an issue that really has got me stuck. I am currently using a Nokia N95 with the latest firmware 20.0.0.15 on a three contract. I have been in Australia for the last 3 months and my phone has worked perfectly until a few days ago when i started getting the packet data connection not available eror message when trying to browse or connect to planet three. I can however connect to other network data transfers although at a cost. As you may know three like home allows the use of my phone in australia for free within my uk contract and i have used it in the same location perfectly well until now. THe tech support team sent me the latest settings all of which make no difference, and i have had the phone working fine since my firmware update so that can be ruled out. THis is really got me stumped and anyones help will be greatly helpfull.

Cheers
Chris

Oh I should also point out that when i try and connect my two inverse arrows stop flashing and the arrows remain hashed then i get the error message.

I have tried all of the previously mentioned remedies in the other posts and none of them have worked so far.

I have used 3 for 4 years with no issues until now, and their inadequate tech support is now really annoying me.

Thanks in advance for any responces.

Chris

not sure if it'll work, but try this:

Tools> Settings> Connections> APN control

if it says Connection restrictions active, press Options> Deactivate restrictions

default PIN2 should be 12345

if the connection restrictions are inactive, perhaps you could try activating and deactivating again

When i go to APN control, there are no access points listed and the manually add an access point doesn't work. I can type in a new name and then when i press ok nothing appears on the screen.

I have set all to inactive but still doesn't work.

Cheers
