hey guys, i got a 10 month old 8gb n95 and have had problems charging it, the pin inside the phone was bent a little and i had to adjust it with a small screwdriver to allow it to charge, it was never the same since then. The charger was prone to popping out and not charging. i had a look at it yday and ended up breaking the pin inside the phone that the charger connects to and it fell out of the phone, can this component be replaced??
i researched the n95s ability to charge using the usb and found that i cannot!!

Welcome to the forums.
USB charging is not an option Im afraid on the N95.
If your N95 is still covered by the manufactured warranty, this I believe is covered.
If your not covered under warranty for what ever reason, it is possible for you to buy the replacement Charger Port/Block, and fit it yourself. Its a little fiddly, but if you take your time, do some research first, and checkout the video guides on here in the TIPS section, you will be fine.

hi yes the charging jack is replaceable i found one on this webite its only £2.75 you will also need a t6 torx screwdriver which they also sell - Accessory Link LTD UK Original Nokia N81 8GB DC JACK / Charge Port / Charging Block Connector Genuine New Replacement Nokia Part No: 5469951

cheers for the tips, im afraid i went at it wih a screwdriver and prob did more damage than good, i bought it in singapore and have no documents either.. so looks like i ll do it myself.. do you buy the replacement parts from nokia direct??
