    Question play voice tag

Hello, just found this forum and its great.
Already fixed a couple of issues.
The problem I have at the moment is voice tags for contacts, the manual says 'open contact - options - play voice tag'. I dont have 'play voice tag' in my options???
    Any ideas please
    Mikee

Please add to your profile the information about your handset and firmware version, you get this by entering *#0000#.

Are you actually opening the contact, i.e. the screen where you have the name and number, and then go into Options ?

hi mikeeand welcome to the forum.

first of all can you please key in *#0000# on your N95 and add the information about your phone model and firmware in your then we'll know which N95 and which firmware we are dealing with.

OK, did you open the contact list or the actual contact name? if you open the actual contact name so you can see the details (name, phone number etc) then click on options and scroll down, you should see the play voice tag option.

Is your phone branded ? What network are you on ? What options come up when you open them in the contact ?

    options that show are...
    voice call
    video call
    create message
    edit
    delete
    use number
    defaults
    assign speed dial
    ringing tone
    copy to sim
    send business card

You probably have O2-branded firmware, but if you say the option was there previously then this should make no difference.

Try doing a hard reset by keying in *#7370#, which will then prompt you to enter your security code, the default one being 12345.

Please back up everything from your phone memory, i.e. contacts, messages, photos, etc. This procedure will format your phone wiping the memory clean and restoring to out-of-the-box condition.

All data on your memory card should be safe, although I would recommend both backing it up on a PC and removing it from the phone when performing the reset.
