Long boot and slowdown after downloading Download! Beta App
Okay, so today, I downloaded the latest D! application which Nokia said I didn't have. I had it before, but then I formatted my phone and it was reset.
Anyway, after downloading and installing the application, my phone (Nokia N95-4 - v.11 Rogers Branding. I don't blame anything on the old firmware as it's been running fine with D! for 6 months before I formatted the phone) froze. I waited, nothing, same screen. I couldn't power it down either, so I took out the battery and put it back in. Then, it stayed on the NOKIA logo for a while, booting after 1-2 minutes. I noticed a couple of my apps (Skyfire, Sports Tracker, etc.) were missing, so I went to the App Manager to see what was going on. Turns out now the App Manager only shows 5 applications even though I have way more than that installed and working. I'm wondering what my next step should be. I don't want to resort to reformatting my phone because it will be a hassle to get everything back as it used to be, but if I have to, I will. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: Problem solved! I did a Factory Reset and now my phone boots up very quickly. Now I'm contemplating about whether or not to debrand. Last edited by tironabardheblu; 05-25-2009 at 10:43 PM. Reason: Problem solved!

Alright, I'm just going to go ahead with it and reset my phone. Seems like the only option available.
