LCD Display Gone?

On my N95-1 The display is completely pixelated/streaks everywhere, can't see a thing.

I tried the TV Out and it's working fine... Some wiring/LCD issue? There was no physical damage leading up to this, I'm fairly sure the battery ran flat though (wasn't charging when I was asleep).

Sound like you need a new screen, flex cable may have been damaged!

This is quite interesting. I left it over the weekend with a though of getting it fixed during the week.

Occasionally I've been checking it to see if a miracle can occur, and slowly the display has been improving. It started off simply a blot of rainbow pixels with nothing at all recognisable. It changed to being streaks and managed to display different screens.

As it stands now it's almost back to normal apart from a couple of streaks and off colours.

Sounds like screen or the flex foil to the screen from the main board......

Watch the clip, and if you feel brave give it ago...
