Another N95 Blank screen problem !!!!!

I have a N95-1 and the screen went blank yesterday. i can see the backlight so i know that there is a power.

i can receive calls.
i can connect to TV using TVout cable
i can connect to my computer and recognize on my nokia pc suite that theres a n95 connected.
i got the latest firmware V31.

is it the LCD?
I read some thread here about screen problem and most of people saying is either LCD or FLEX cable.

Flex cable? this one?

It's quite possible that your phone is still under warranty (if you haven't messed with it), so why don't you try that first before attempting DIY repairs?

My wife got me this phone april 2007 so that thing makes me out of warranty.. Replacing lcd i think i can do it somehow. But the other stuff like flex cable i might take deep breath.

Its alive!!! Got a new screen from ebay for 14pounds.took 5 min. to change the lcd and it works! Now all i need is a new keypad and fix the slider! Its like new again!
