Thumbs down Incoming calls problem (Can't hear incoming caller)

Hey all! I'm new to this board.

I started having problems with my N95 8GB lately.
Sometimes when I get an incoming call, I would answer the call the usual way by just sliding the phone open,
but I cant hear the person on the other end and the person cant hear me as well.
Doesn't happen all the time but it gets really annoying and the most important damaging to my business since I use this phone on the go to take calls from customers.

I just wonder if anyone had this problem with their N95?? And is there any solutions?

I will try to use my other phone for a week and see if it's caused by provider and not the phone, but I doubt it since this phone always had random connection errors....

Well thanx for any comments and advices.

    Cheers

Welcome to the forums. Have you changed the outer casing of your N95 recently?

It does sound network/connection related though to me. Check your network settings, and let us know which are set.

To find your Nokia Firmware version, key *#0000#. The V##.#.### shown is your current Firmware! Please add these details with Nokia model to your profile. This information will help others help you. Thank you.!

No I didnt change the casing on the phone, except for dropping it a few month ago maybe that did some damage.
I never changed any connection settings.
But what kind of settings should I check anyway?

Is it a good idea to do a factory reset?

Hmm.. maybe mic gone out of place ?

Regarding setting you can only increase/decrease it's volume !

Well yeah, the thing is it happens randomly, so I guess it might be a bad connection somewhere with the mic, but if it's the mic why cant i hear the other person?
