Bloody battery again!

Hi Folks, sorry for my first post to be typed in anger but im on my second N95 now, i sent the last one back as i was getting 5 hours battery life, now on my new one im getting 1.5 hours battery life and i havent even touched the phone since i unplugged it this morning!! They couldnt be this bad???

Is there anything i can do to prolong it? I have turned off wlan scanning & b/tooth when not in use etc..

I have done a search and seems a few have this problem and apparantly it gets better, does it get much better?

That is quite unusual!

When you replaced you N95, did you get a new wall charger as well?

Have you done a backup and restore of your applications? Have you installed Truphone or Fring, or any other VOIP application that might be killing your battery with WiFi? Sometimes Truphone has crashed on me, you just see the WiFi icon but the SIP icon disappears, when that happens, the WiFi just sits there BLASTING out until your battery dies approx 1-1.5 hours later. Thats happened to me a few times and seems consistent with your battery life... Just turning off WLAN Scanning does NOT disable WiFi when applications want to use it.

Also, what firmware are you running?

Yeah got a complete new boxed unit that included new charger, have no VOIP applications also.

My firmware is V 11.0.026 could it be something do with this?

Does the battery heat up before it goes dead??

Have written a thread about that already. If it does it a phone fault! I rekon 60% of N95s do it. On my second handset and it still does it occasionally. Read my thread called overheating battery!

i just had a check there and the battery is stone cold?
