Lock code error

well,
I messed up the security lock code of my N95 so that even restoring the factory settings doesn't work...normally that problem is solved by typing in 12345 but it just keeps on giving me error pop-ups.
does anyone know a solution to this?

So, did this happen as a result of you changing the code to comething else?

Are you sure it's not asking you for the PUK code?

What exactly did you do when you 'messed it up'??? A little more information may help us help you...

I wanted to change the security code to something else but I unfortunately I can't recall the exact code because I kept on changing it.

Now, everytime I try to fix this problem by using 12345, its says code error and after trying again and again it says that the code will unblock in five minutes.

However, when I try again after these 5 minutes I still have the same problem.

It doesn't ask for a PUK code.

I wanna restore the phone to the factory settings but I'm just stuck.

It means the phone will accept the correct code in 5 minutes, as it's locked you out for 5 minutes due to too many invalid attempts...

I hate to say it but you're gunna need that code. Maybe an authorised Nokia Service Centre can help you, where did you buy the phone from?

Unless you can get the code, your only option I believe is to go to a Nokia Service centre. You'll need proof of ownership/purchase before they'll reset it for you.

Then get who ever bought it for you to provide proof of purchase/ownership.

Unless you mean gift, as in borrowed from it's real owner.....
