Memory Card problem in Nokia X3-02

I have a Nokia X3-02 and it is updated to the latest software....

I have a 2gb sd card... It was working fine for almost a year but now when I insert the memory card my mobile gets a little slow and takes time in opening applications and other stuff...

When I try to open my Memory Card My mobile says memory card not formatted and asks whether I would like to format it or not.. When I select Yes, after a second or two an "Operation Failed" message pops up...

My memory card is read by my computer and other mobiles.... And my mobile is also unable to read other memory cards....

I am really pissed off right now..... i could not find the solution anywhere... If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...

If your phone is not reading other memory cards as well then it seems there is a hardware fault with the card reader within the handset. This calls for a visit to a Nokia repair centre, I'm afraid.

My Mobile does read the cards but it says that it is not formatted...

But you say the phone cannot format any card, which means it does not read them properly.
