Bloody LCD screens lol....

Went out in London on saturday, had 3 drinks all night....got in the rear of the car for the lift home back to my friends, put phone in pocket as you do. Go to take it out 5mins later to find the **** screen cracked down the middle, the lipsyl in my pocket must of been on top of the screen as I sat down, which was then crushed against it :(

Thankfully O2 are sending me out a new one which I'll get tomorrow, 24hr turn around can't be bad :D Hopefully it won't have a wobbly slider like the broke one, doubt I'll get one without a high pitched noise as well though.

They really don't make phones as robust as they used to lol, got to be so careful with these new age phones

There are new types of "transflective" LCD screens out now that are very flexible (contain no glass) and use LED's to light up the screen. Hopefully they will trickle down to cellular/mobile phones soon - which means no more cracked screens. The only device I know of that uses it is the Toshiba Portege R500 notebook
