music through Bluetooth stereo headphones skips

The music streamed through the Motorola S9 stereo headphones skips if the N95 moves, for example, if the phone is in my pocket while I am walking. Is that normal?

I think it's because your body gets in the way. I find the S9's have great distance in the House, and work well in my backpack when I'm biking.

But yeah, in my trouser pocket, I get the odd skip here and there. I've taken to popping the N95 in my arse pocket when walking, which seems to be a lot better.

That sounds so strange. Is that usually how Bluetooth devices work?

Some people had issues with HT820s and bluetooth devices.
Could there be a similar issue with S9s?

Like I said, open air, they seem to have better range. I just put it down to my er, "thick" body between the devices.

The music also tends to cut out when the N95 is slightly shaken. I have had to stably hold the device nearly chest high in order to get continuous play. Even then, the music cuts out all of the time. It cant be that my head is that large!
