Data Recovery for Symbian OS

Hi everyone,

Just wondering whether anyone had found Data Recovery software for the Symbian OS? I deleted all my photos accidentally in LifeBlog and must recover them.

Do you regulary sync your phone and PC?

That is probably the only thing you can do to avoid losing data

If your pics were stored on the memory card, try putting it in a card-reader in the PC and Google for recovery software, there's some (free IIRC) that deal specifically with recovering pics from camera-cards.

In hindsight, regular synchronisation would have prevented this, but unfortunately I had just bought the phone and hadn’t done so. So I’m hoping that I can recover the data…

As far as memory card recovery goes, try FileScavenger or BadCopy Pro, I use both and they work well.

You might have to fork out a small amount of cash but they will eventually pay for themselves. I believe in the free version you can see what files it can recover but won't recover them til you pay.
