    Can't connect in PCsuite mode

Hello fellow n95 users. My problem: my n95 doesn't connect in sync mode, but it does in usb storage mode, as well as a photocamera and media player.

I pick PCSuite mode and the USB symbol appears on the phone, but my PC doesn't see anything connected to it.

What could be wrong? I'm worried, this is the first time my phone does not work.

Make sure you using the USB port that you would normally use

It sounds like a driver problem more than anything else - Have you un/installed or upgraded PC Suite at all recently?

What OS are you running on your computer, Windows XP?
Do you get the yellowish balloon in the bottom right corner of the PC screen saying 'Nokia PC Suite-Nokia N95 connected via USB'?

Just another thought - When changing to PC Suite mode and the phone displays 'Change USB mode? Memory card may be corrupted and data may be lost', are you pressing 'Ok' ?

It sounds dangerous but will do no harm to the phone - It is only picking up the previous USB connection setting used

Yes, and i just tested it on all the 3 ports, getting the same result.

I haven't done anything to PC Suite, do you suggest reinstalling it now?

Yes, I hit "yes" in that screen.

Yep, running XP, I don't get the balloon, and on the "harware removal" window I can't see the phone, and but I do get the "ta-da" sound when I plug it in, and the "da-ta" when I unplug it.

Ok, so I first tried to repair the PC Suite installation and restarted, it didn't work. Then I uninstalled and installed PC Suite, then restarted, with no results. Finally I hard-resetted the phone (lost my calendar data even though I did back up damn :-( ) and it still doesn't connect in PC Suite mode.

    What the heck, any ideas?

e: funny thing is that every time I uninstall PC Suite and I leave the phone connected, the uninstalling program DOES know there's a nokia phone connected and asks me to unplug it.

I installed the new Nseries PC Suite two days ago and i don't know if it was that which caused my problem, but i haven't installed anything else on my PC in the meantime....But, straight after i installed the New PC Suite (which looks sensational) my Bluesoleil Bluetooth on my PC stopped working and could no longer discover any devices. And what shat me the most was that it even stopped CLicker from working/connecting.
So i uninstalled the new PC Suite AND IVT and then reinstalled IVT and all my bluetooth works again.
But now i'm too hesitant to install the new PC Suite again, which is sad cos it has such an awesome UI
