Messaging module bugged :(

Well it took me only a couple of hours to bug my N95 :(

I cannot seem to be able to access the messaging area. I have no clue what I did.
When I try to access it from the shortcut or from the menu, the top section of the screen is frozen and the rest is simply blank...

Same thing happens when I try to enter into Windows Live Messenger (downloaded from Nokia's site!).

Both apps are visible in the active apps (pressing and holding the menu button) but I cannot stop them (by pressing c).

The only way to stop them is by chosing "remove memory card" which will auto close all running apps. That works.

Help?

That's the first thing I did.
My messaging module was bugged before I installed windows live messenger.

Btw, by messaging module, I mean the SMS area (not sure how to call it!).
It's an important part of the phone. Not sure what to do ><

Just a quick suggestion here, but have you tried rebooting the phone? It's not always an obvious one, but it will fix the quite common Installer bug in which an error occurs during the installation of an application often rendering features of the device useless as you describe
