Phone Shut Off half way through update!!!

Hello all, I have been having problems with my N95 shutting off, so i updated it and it made it a bit better but kept freezing etc,

I read on a few posts try re installing the firmware, i done this and the phone shut off half way through re installation and the screen is now lit, but black, doesnt respond to anything,

Anything i can do??

Any help would be much appreciated

Sam

All of your posts are pretty close together. I am sure during my last FW update my phone became unresponsive for quite some time. I am even surer I have heard of this happening to others, maybe you should just wait a little longer?

Let us know how it goes?

Ive tried the reset quite a few times and also re-booted my computer and uninstalled everything and re installed it, i was kind of rushing because it was a mates phone, i was upgrading the firmware for him, now he's got a fresh doorstop i suppose,

I was going to take it to the carphone warehouse tommor but everyone has been saying it'll be about £40 to fix

Users are supposed to be able to update the firmware themselves, if it glitches during this process, then it's a warranty issue and shouldn't cost you anything to fix!

When I bricked a previous nokia O2 were not interested in fixing it. Nokia however did, and for free after a bit of debate.

I'd NEVER take ANYTHING to o2,even though CPW can be bad they can't be no worse then the o2 staff.
