Nokia & Vodafone start software cooperation...
"Mobile technology firm Nokia has sealed a deal with operator Vodafone Group Plc on customizing software for the operator's smartphones, the companies said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
The companies said they have created a Vodafone version of Nokia's S60 operating system, which would cut costs and speed up customizing mobile services on Vodafone handsets. The operating system will be first installed on Samsung's SGHi-520 model and Nokia's N95 model, both expected to hit the shops in March-April." Via Yahoo
