For the wife: N82 or N95?

i'd say N82, being very light, responsive and simple to use. also as bartmanekul said, being in a handbag it'll get knocked around like hell, my mum's sirocco looks like crap now because of that, and the N82 is slightly more durable than the N95.

Trust me...get her the N95-1 it will stand the test of time for sure. If you are worried about her putting it in her handbag, just check whether it has a phone holder (as most handbags do now). Mine slots nicely in the phone pocket and doesn't have a scratch or mark in sight.

I would get the N95-1, as opposed to the N95-2, as it has capacity for a memory card therefore data transfer is easier between card and pc and it may be possible in the future to expand memory beyond 8gb as memory cards develop.

That's one girl's opinion anyway...

Well to me a phone thicker is better than a phone thats longer. Thats just me.......

N95 = a mans phone
N82 = ladies phone

I think it comes down to what style of phone your wife likes best.I got my girlfriend an N82 6-7 weeks ago and she loves it!She previously had a flip phone but says the N82 is far far better.It gets put in her handbag with rest of her stuff and still looks in perfect condition.It is one great phone!!
