windows media player
ok so im having a slight problem with windows media player. i have version 11 installed. i have set up the video settings to 'fit video to player on resize'. i am under the impression once selecting this, everytime i open a video to view it, it will fit the video to the player, but this doesnt happen. everytime i open a video it is at its 100% video size. i must add that i do not have 'fit player to video on start' checked. my first assumption that 'fit player to video on resize' does stretch the video to fit the player, may be wrong. but ive done this on my previous computer, so any help is appreciated. its annoying to keep changing the video size everytime i open a video.

'fit video to player on resize' means that if you un-maximise it into a smaller window, or if you maximise it into a larger window, then, and only then, will the video be fitted.

thanks. i was wondering though if there is anyway to just load a video into an already maximized window and have it fitted, instead of always clicking something to fit it.

I have the same options checked as you, but it's working the way you seem to want it to.
