Next gen gaming consoles

Out of interest, how do you like your PS3? I'm planning on getting myself a next-gen console sometime soon.

It's great a bit pricey in Uk but I got a little bit cheaper while out in Thailand.

Sorry fellas... I had to split the topic to keep the thread clean and on task. But to join in- I've got to say... the 360 blows away the PS3. I was quite pissed when they released the thing- I expected far more from Sony. I've always been a big fan of them. Hell I'm posting from a PSP right now. I've always got the latest Sony toy. They just really let me down with the PS3.

Ah, sorry for going off topic there. Yeah, I was thinking of getting a 360, but keeping my options open until I hand the money over!

I'm still using the PS2 for games. Don't play games that much to invest in a PS3. If I should however get myself a newer gaming console it will probably be the Xbox 360. I think it's a waste to pay $1000 for a PS3.

Power wise they are nearly on par (ps3 and Xbox 360)
if u avoid the hype, the ps3 is not as powerfull they say it is.

ps3 is crazy expensive and there arn't really any games out on it at all

360 still has lots of problems, don't be surprised if you get it and have to send it back, and with the accesories like external hd dvd drive it costs just as much as the ps3.

Wii, just like ps3 has been completely underwhelming since launch (zelda, which was amazing). Its of course less powerfull but cheep.


There really is no console for me...i hope apple gets into making videogames before to long.
