It's all fun and games. We suffer though Ben as often brand new releases are "buggy" and need a firmware update or three ( a la N95 ) But still, the price we pay for being Nokia geeks.

Thats true, I got my N95 the week after it came out, and I was miffed at how slow it was, but then the firmware updates started rolling in...slowly.

Yeah I can't believe how much difference the v21 made to my battery life. Others have not made that much fuss but for me, it took mine from 1 days use to 3 days use.

Ditto :)

But still, Nokia could of used a bigger battery in the N96, to at least "attempt" to help the situation.

I watched a video posted in a thread at some point, when asked why the same battery was used he stated

" A bigger battery would mean a bigger phone and we didn't want that with the N96, the battery is the same but on this version is has better optimization and memory handling. "

Something along those lines.

Yeah that's just it.

I probably won't spend much time chucking programs etc on it, as it'll probably have to go back to o2 for being faulty. Ha. I am a tad excited at the thought of it thought. It's a while off yet...

In the UK, "FREE" basically translates to: Get the phone up front, then pay for it over a fixed contract length, usually 18 months, in with your text/minute bundle.

eg. £35 per month, 18 months = £420.

Some people, manage to screw the networks down to a sweet deal like £20 a month for 12 months, then they are quids in. But a lot of people get screwed on contracts.

Nevertheless, in the UK you always hear people refer to FREE phones, but they generally aint. Usually quite the opposite.

It's Broke?

Did you know that your Nokia comes with a 2 year warranty? Did you know that Carphone Warehouse are Nokia Repair Centres?
Damage from normal use: wobbly slider, broken keys, quiet earpiece etc... will be repaired for free, and usually the same day if you take it to a big store!
