In the event on a months scoring being a draw how would members like the month to be scored ?

Maybe if we randomly select a member each month to be the "Mystery Member" who can in the event of a draw choose a winner ?

I want to keep this fair so all members are happy with the rules WE set.

Can anyone offer a logical method besides my wild offering ?

5 member jury can be good and also i would suggest that jury should be chosen at random every time there is a tie

What about a 3 day poll or something? Let everyone get a chance to vote on on only those two, just an idea.

Btw, nice job on putting the photo competitions together IJM. I am looking into some options for prizes for the monthly winners.

I like the head-on poll better as suggested by admin. . .and only those who enter the months competition are the ones who get to vote?

The poll idea sounds fair to me, but all good suggestions so far.

OK. So what would members like to see.

1. A Member nonminated to make any decisions if a tie occurs.
2. A 5 member panel randomly selected in the event on a tie. ( chosen by admin ? )
3. A set panel who are used in each tie braker, if and when.

Any other suggestions,

RE Admin, I can't see how a poll would work, as we'd need a winner to be chosen on the last day for next months theme. So we would not have time to rull a poll ?

Personally to save a lot of hassle, we have a panel of 5 members ( made up of mods and members ) and in the even of a tie, they will be contacted by myself ask asked for there vote.

Selecting a new panel of 5 each time a draw occurs may be a ball ache ?

What do members think ?
