David Blaine............Did He Or Didn't He

Now has any one seen what David Blaine has done, held his breath for 17 minutes or somthing and beat his own record by 30 seconds .

Now come on is this really humanly possible.....I don't think so.

He is a master of illusion..............Any one got any ideas how he did it...

Having watched the video, and when his head came out the water, his hair was not wet one bit, so you do have to ask, but as its the world records, it can't be fake can it?

ok I haven't seen the video but I know guiness is rather strict with their world record stuff and from what I read is was breathing in pure oxygen before he went in which will significantly increase the amount of time you can hold your breathe

Now normally there would be a offical from the Guiness World Records standing by making sure there is no funny business going on, i didn't see any one.....

yeah it is and I highly doubt he did it especially considering he's an illusionist

The previous record was something like 16 minutes.
I think he did sufficient preparation by breathing pure oxygen and spending time in hypoxic conditions.

Its quite possible

I've seen shows on the one girl who was like 12 and free dived for like 10-12 minutes at a time but 17 is a REALLY long time.
