Took the plunge - Black N82 all mine come Friday...

Yep, did it today. Saw a price too good to pass up from a known legitimate parallel importer (with a years warranty too, not always the case in the parallel imported scene). Price is likely to look better and better over the coming weeks too - sudden trend starting yesterday for parallel importers to increase prices (currency pressure from the markets they source from I would think). Also got a pretty good price on a Sandisk 8GB MicroSDHC card (since mine went with my stolen N95-1). Ready to rock!

So I'll get it on Friday, probably the same day as my trial Black N82 arrives from WOMworld. Might give my one to a non-smartphone savvy friend to have while I have the trial one, could make for an interesting experiment eh?

Will be sure and get some nice shiny macro shots from my N95 8GB for all of you on Friday.

Im thinking its the best featured Nokia out at the moment, and the best out of the new ones out too.

How hard would it be for nokia to release a FP2 device that has the same specs but better looking?

Theres nothing that has 5mp cam, xenon flash, card slot, lens protection, GPS coming out.

Thats exactly the reason I have recently pulled the trigger on an N82. No point waiting for the N78/96 group because it's only the FP2 which interests me.

Oops, forgot wireless.

But Im guessing theres shedloads of people whom would buy a nicer looking N82, perhaps with some onboard storage as well as a card slot (8/16GB).

Either way, they could make it much nicer - the 6220 classic has all those functions bar the wifi, and its good looking.
