Hi everyone,
I have had my n95 a week now and i thought i would give my thoughts on what its like and hope that some people on here can push me in the right direction with some of the things im struggling with....

the slider
mine has a tiny bit of movement on it but nothing to risk sending it back and getting a worse one.... :cry:

connecting to wifi
really struggled with this but thanks to this site and others changed my WLAN to WPA2 and things are great, altough t mobile told me to sign up to W+W plus for it to work....

memory card
havent got one yet :oops: im still hearing about the rumored 4G sandisc but will get a 2G ebay one this week if nothing is confirmed, must say i thought the phones memory would have gave out by now but it still hanging in there, not installed maps yet....

voice dialling
another tip from this site, only impressed because it works nearly every time!!

games
installed a couple and seems very good, sonic is just like the megadrive version!

music player
very impressed beats my old 750i!!!

streamed radio
got bbc radio 1 to work straight away but heard others are having problems with this??

updating firmware
tried from nokias site but cant get any updates??

my settings wizard
says needs data settings but i have installed these??

im sure theres more but thats enough to get started, im finding things everyday, and i have to say its by far the best phone i have had to date, must admit i cant belive some people are moaning about tiny faults when we was all moaning about how long we were waiting a few weeks ago...

Sounds good.. I'm having the same slider problem too.. not sure whether to send it back as I've had it for only 2 days.. but I keep thinking what if I send it back and get another one thats got the same slider problem....

man thats lame, they're just after more money...

your wifi has nothing to do with your network provider...next they will be billing you for bluetooth messages!

I like the EA version. But you have to pay a few bucks for that.

Had mine for two weeks now, my findings:

-It was freezing up and a bit unstable. The new firmware fixed that problem.
-The camera takes bad pics at night, but great pics in sunlight. the new firmware improves the image a bit.
-The phone takes too long to boot up, 15-20 seconds is too long imo.
-The slider is not wobbly, but I have a few scratches above the '3' button
-The "C" key is losing its metallic paint
-The screen is very hard to read in sunlight, but has great clarity inside.
-Intermittent hissing noise especially when the Alarm is playing.
-High pitch noise from top of screen especially during a call.
-System/GUI response is good thanks to the 200MHz cpu. My old 6820 was a snail lol
-USB transfer speed is very slow, as if its running at USB1.1 speed
-Stereo/3D Audio output is great
-The radio works well and channel changes are instant
-Video playback is great when using MP4 H264
-TV output looks ok but could be improved.
-The Text-to-speech feature is nice, especially when it calls out the callers name when they are calling
-The front camera sucks lol
-Audio output sounds great, but it lacks volume when using a good sound system. (its designed for headphones though)
-Bluetooth works very well
-Wifi was buggy but now works fine with the new firmware
-The power switch vibration is handy, my 6820 was a nightmare trying to turn on (bad switch pressure, no bootup signals at all)
-Battery life is bad especially when using GPS
-GPS works fine, but the routing doesnt detect No-Right turns
-The camera flash is lacking since its LED based.
-The 3D chip is great, games look good.
