Movie COnversion Help for N95 Noob

I origianlly posted in the wrong section - as I was haveing problems in copying some of my DVDs for use on the phone - after mcuh reading on here I managed to make some progress using free DVD decrypter and any video converter.

Well so I thought......

My original problem was what files from DVD to copy/decrypt - es care of that but when it comes to the conversion i followed what I thougt was right copying vob files 01_1 to 01_7 or the highest number on DVD. I managed to merg these and get the new MP$ video on hte phone and it work - well video and sound but its put the soundtrack in German as opposed to English - I didnt have any option on language on the software. Is this down to the files I copied or something else ? Help Please

Also I noticed that the fianl converted MP4 file is only about 200Mb which seems low - would this be down to the settings I used for conversion. I think frame rate was 15, what are the best settings for the phone

Cheers looks good will try it out later - looks a bit complicated - are there loads of settings to alter? Do you know what works best for the phone - fps, size, bit rate etc etc

Just put the DVD in ..open the program..click new task >choose rip video dvd>tick all files shown in the task > choose MP4 >convert....and thats it.

Hmm was looking for freeware and even with this you need to know what vob files you need to copy - as my decrypter saves all of the vob on hard disk but which ones do I convert ??

Never-mind about what you got on your hard disk!!!
you have to put the disk in >New task >rip video dvd > MPEG4 or H264/AVC > tick all files> convert...... all files from the dvd are originall vts_01 or 02 or 03 etc. and that what will show in your task menu....not a VOB files......unless of course you dont have the DVD disk itself..if so let us know.

I have the disk but the decryted version is on the hard drive or are you saying that this will decrypt as well -sorry if appearing a bit thick on this

IM JUST TRYING TO HELP THE GUY OUT,,

WHY GO TROUGH THE HASSLE OF CONVERTING WICH ALOT OF TIMES WONT SUCCED

JUST DL THEM IN MP4 FORMAT,, DO DOME GOOGLELING

YOU'LL FIND ALOT OF MP4 VIDEO SITES (MAINLY 4 IPOD VIDEO)

THAT WORK JUST GREAT WITH THE N-95
