Possibly new firmware updates for the NSeries in July

Just been reading this over on SF where there is talk of new firmware updates for the N95, and could possibly include FP2

Personally, I will believe it when I see it.

I agree, the chances of seeing FP2 on older devices is slim to non existant.

No, these firmware updates are only just to prevent people from hacking Symbian OS . So my advice do not get fooled easily by Nokia.

I did read something about Nokia hiring the guy that hacked the firmware, and obviously in a bid to make it eve harder to hak next time.

There was a Romanian guy in early 90ties that told Nokia the most popular way to unlock Nkia phones. They changed something, and there was a 2-3 moths gap before somebody found the way again. So, somebody will find a way again.....

Not holding my breath... There's a thread about it somewhere in the Nokia forums as well...
