Large Hadron Collider

With only a day and a half left for us, what are your opinions on this?

Is it a good idea? Are we all going to die? Will time and space cease to exist? Will it do absolutely nothing but scare some Science geeks?

To be honest, I am against anything which has the slightest chance of producing a black hole and killing everyone. But i doubt it will happen, in fact ill bet you £10 that there wont be a black hole:p

I think the worse that will happen is that birds will get lost due to the magnetic field produced by the thing. For me, it's one of the most exciting things happening in physics at the moment.

You know, regular physics are starting to bore me anyway. It's about time we had some wierd unexplained stuff happening. Would be nice if for once, what went up didn't come down.

Just hope we don't all die a horrible death. I do wonder if the whole project had cost too much money and time now that they simply proceed regardless of safety, but at the same time I realised recently that not all stuff reported in the media is true and correct.

That said, I am a bit nervous that our dodgey antics might break some intergalactic tampering-with-the-universe rule and we get invaded by alien time cops or something.

It's Broke?

Did you know that your Nokia comes with a 2 year warranty? Did you know that Carphone Warehouse are Nokia Repair Centres?
Damage from normal use: wobbly slider, broken keys, quiet earpiece etc... will be repaired for free, and usually the same day if you take it to a big store!
