QR barcodes

First time I've seen these used widely in England now, apart from mobile forums and such.

Now on current Pepsi cans within England, not sure if this is international or even elsewhere in the UK ?

I have never seen a Soda can with that before in the states, so I guess you're alone on that part for now.

You use the phone's barcode scanner to scan the barcode. The scanner software can then read what information is contained within that barcode (usually a website link) and you can then open said link on your phone.

You can make your own QR barcode too:

LOL other than this forum, and a couple of sites online, I have never had a use for the barcode scanner.

Oh and for the record, we have none of those cans in my area, down here in Kent, not even the supermarkets have them yet.
