i think making a laptop is something that can't be done half ast. Making a fullblown computer OS is huge, much bigger than making a phone OS. not saying they couldnt do it and do it well, just i hope the give it there all.

If Nokia pulls this off, it would be very good news indeed.

Really not interested personally, unless it has windows on it (yeah yeah flame away, but I need it).

You have to wonder what the build quality will be like...

I predict rubbish hinges with lots of play. I predict a battery cover which sounds loose and cheap. I predict my E-Mails to show up weird names when I have more than one entry in them.

I predict poor battery performace, along with limited RAM, it may have a Webcam with a built in LED, not a Xenon though ;p.

I predict a mass of cables and drivers needed, along with the need to sign every program you download off the net.

That's just for starters ;)

Bart i'm with you on the Windows,
and jim, that speel is hilarious and sadly potentially true. They'd also have to squeeze in an accelarometer and gps chip. and why not an FM receiver.
*not pulling piss, a thrive on nokia*

I'd like to see how they would make a laptop. Nokia is known for their unique concepts for phones, but would they go "out of the box" for a computer? I would be delighted if they did. There is steep competition out there, but even Dell and HP aren't doing well in these times. This could make or break Nokia in my opinion.
