those prices seem too good to be true. i'd be very careful. do you have photos or a link to a website?

The information is within these very forums for you to check to ensure you don't fall fowl of a cloned handset, but from the sounds of it, O2, and 3, sound legit, however, its impossible to say if they will eventually show "Simcard registration failed", of course, unless you totally trust these people you are thinking of buying from?

Didnt know you could check it on here Micky, I'd obviously have to buy the phone in order to see it though first, then check it, then its maybe to late, would go back with though if that happened. Or go and see it, get the number, check it then either ye or nae. One's selling from thier house and the other I've to meet them at a service station off a motorway. There both probably legit, but I suppose the one from house is more so, but said it could with a new cover/s.

Is there a code on phones that allows other people to listen to your calls?

stucbr, at the end of the day, it's your choice. without genuine photos or an IMEI number, it's difficult for us to form an opinion.
it's easy to say that the service station seller is a dodgy dealer because you can't trace them back to their house if the phone is a fake. then again, maybe they have a good reason for not inviting you into their home. all i can say is search for the relevant forum threads here and take a good look at mickys blog ( N95 Clones ). hopefully then you will know the tell-tale signs of a cloned phone and, if you do go for the service station deal, think about take someone with you.

having said that, i'm sure that the UK government have ways and means of tapping your calls. and some people have been listening in to our calls via scanners for years.
