Thanks Pict' Earth USA. From the picture, it looks like the gps receiver would be obstructed. I would presume you would make use of the gps functions from the N95 also? Ok, so I gathered from the website that the Pict' Earth software does the video/image processing and streaming of video and gps data in realtime...can the phone/camera functions be remotely controlled using the software also?
Thanks a lot! Cheers |

Ive got an old Easystar and r/c setup from a time when I was trying to do aerial shots with my sony digital.
It got kinda banged up guys, landings are ALWAYS hard lol... I'm not rich enough to own two n95s, I'll save my aerial shots for cheaper cameras... (but I can use the n95 gps on the ground to get approximate gps data, right?) |

...Pseudo, I like your sense of humor....but no, not MI6, CIA, or FBI, etc...I'm just a geek. Anyway, I believe there are softwares/services that are already available to do this....right?

I'm not sure. I don't recall any programs like this right now...

I checked the pictures. Most of the unsharpness seems to come (by seeing the shutter time and rolling shutter effect) from the vibrations on the plane. If there would be some anti vibration attaching for the camera phone the images would be much sharper. Maybe using thin gel paddings around the camera. Also set the mode so that the camera does not try to focus (I do not know what is in English version of OS the name but taking picture of scenery).
This is cool stuff, maybe I need to buy another gadget again... :) BR, DV |

Correcting myself. It is just speed artefact not rolling shutter, sorry. So add some vibration resitant padding and you are even better than today (which is not bad at all)! BR, DV |
