Coming back to England
Coming back to England, London, next Tuesday for a week.
First time in three years anyone from that part of the world have any advice as to what to avoid? Not to Do!  To Do! To See! Hear the weather has been a bit warmer lately!

Well your too late for warm weather its been raining on and off.... yesturday was alright but yes tuesday its raining forecast
umm not alot i think would of changed.... ummm avoid terminal 5 at heathrow missed the tennis LOL and british f1 LOL visit regent street nokia store... took me an hour to leave!

I said I would only return to the UK for a funeral, but now seeing as I have a little Niece, it looks like I too maybe going back for a couple of weeks, but not for a couple of years yet though.

Tommie.
Am planning to visit the flagship store Tommie, Was going to buy the N97, but have got a bit reticent after reading some of the comments in the forum lately, the main problem being that if anything should go wrong I would be up the creek without a paddle, because the nearest Nokia care point to me, as far as I can find out on Google, is in Madrid, about 4hrs away. Will wait till Christmas, and things have settled down, when I think I will be going back again for a 100th birthday. Sam. Am flying into Gatwick, which I am told is nearly as bad as Heathrow. Will certainly be spending a bit of time in the Nokia store, bit like yourself, just can't flip in and out and need to get a good look at Mr G's headphones. Shame there in a glass case aren't they? Thanks for the update on the weather, will be checking it out before I go. Can't say Im looking forward to it, It's all that messing about at the airports, I know it's all necessary, but still a pain. Micky. Wer'e only going back for a 70th birthday, Dreading the the funerals starting!!!!!!!!, comes with age I suppose LOL.

Ok Nice CD , I'm not shoore if MrG headphones are in Londons flagshipstore
or in some other flagshipstore round the globe at that time ? and yes not fun in airports , some days later I be in the Alicante Aeropuerto...-) Need more sun , (It be airplain insteed of the car) As I dont have the N97 I cant say anything about it but it sound smart to wait but there be 11 Nokia carepoint stores in the Alicante area . You find them here Nokia Espaņa - Localizador de centros de Nokia I hope you enjoy your stay in London and see you later..-:) Cheers

Do not! I repeat, Do Not! Go on an underground tube in this weather. You will die from the combination of no air, no air-conditioning, bad-smelling people, mostly persperation but also what they had for dinner last night and finally the heat. I undertook the journey twice on the same day to the Nokia Flagship store to get my n97 on the 20 June. First one was faulty. Needless to say I am so happy that the second was has proved faultless. The only good thing is that Oxford Circus entrance is about 2 minutes from the Nokia store so you can avoid hours of struggling to get through Regents Street. Enjoy your stay.

Why not take a good look at the 5800 whilst you have the chance, a cheap introduction to Series 5 touch-screen, reliable, parts available if needed, easy to re-case, good performer, only let down by the camera, ok outdoors, very poor in low light though.
Best value of its type atm IMO.
