To say 5800 is XM, its not exceptionally well in that department. Everyone thinks 5800 has loud external speakers, but you have to lay it on a hard surface for the music to reflect. Cute trick...but not really. Using headphones is really disappointing, not so much in quality, but in volume output. My E75 is surprisingly better and louder. I would say that 5800 internal speaker is on par with N95 8Gb and that was a disappointment for me. My 2 cents in case you are taking anything other than camera into consideration.
