Which one?

Ok so as you guys have seen i have unfortunatley sold my N86 on because orange ruined it!

So now ive got a dilemma.. My friend who works in a phone shop has said he would offer me a N96 or 5800

So which one shall i pick

I love both but both have up and downs..

N96
16gb memory, 5mp camera, Big screen,

downs Slow as hell , Not built good

5800 slick, Great UI , nice big screen

downs 3.2Mp camera.. touchscreen texting??

SO guys can you help me guys? Im currently using N96 but im tempted by 5800 but the camera !!

The N96 is a really good looking phone. Ive already had the 5800, so Im leaning toward a new experience(N96). I guess that makes me biased and of no help at all. Is the N96 that slow? I heard it had a downsized processor. My N95 8Gb was surprisingly slow.

Out of those... 5800. Definitely not the N96.

i had both and kept going back to the n96 , for me it had better spec and wasnt slow on v30 or v20 infact , even with 32gb of data on the phone :-)

it all depends on what you want mate

never owned an N96 and never likely to as my 5800 does everything i need and does it well. just look at the praise it gets on this forum alone.

and as for the camera quality, if that's the only "issue", you're not doing that bad really.

yep agreed the 5800 is a great phone but when i had both in my house the n96 just pipped it for my daily use , its not to say i didnt miss some things from the 5800 like the bigger screen and the better speakers :-)

on screen txting is fine sam

to be honest in daytime the 5800 camera is ok , the n96 is better but they still both take useable pictures , at nightime both phone suffer from no xenon and therfore are both pretty much useless in dark condition anyways

maybe go for the 5800 if your n96 isnt built well mine was solid another reason why i liked it , the slider was awesome on it , really smooth with no wobble , if your one wobbles like mad get rid and get the 5800 , i know how annoying the wobbles are and they aint as easy to fix on the n96 as the n95 due to a slightly modified slider mechanism

you cant really go wrong with a 5800

having used both....this is a tough choice..
the n96 originally was buggy slow.....with the last fw update...v30 i think
the n96 became a whole new device...fast slick and finally doing what it
ought too!!!....
the 5800.....touch speedy dependable great music device value for money...
(and skype video calling via fring which is important to me....though its will be
here soon for non touch devices)

but in my personal opinion i would go for the n96...as im a movie buff and i
like having alot of movies on my device....thus the 16gb internal would suit me
fine....(and memory card)...you lose nothing but gain a few things over the 5800
