Contemplating selling my N95. Curious what a 9 day old N95 can fetch? Reason I'm considering parting with it is I can't see to find the freaking Nokia Bluetooth keyboard for it! Exapanys was suppose to get it later this month but now I hear it's gettting pushed back sigh*! I picked up my phone about a week or so ago and have already taken it in to a Nokia Center for the firmware upgrade. It's got the 1 gig card, plum colored and I've already put on the silicone smoke grey case. I also purchased the plum flip original case that came on some standard N95's. Again I'm just toying with the idea of selling it. I love the phone only gripes again is the keyboard for me. The phones made in finland and has none of the slidding wobble in earlier releases. Hmm not much esle to say about it just curious whats the going price for a N95? I'm out in Taipei Taiwan by the way so my phone has english as well as chinese character inputs. It's unbranded and unlocked btw and also has a cd package that uses papago V12 I belive that has maps of Taiwan in case anyone visiting out this way. hmm have everything box cds etc and again it's only 9 days old if that. Thinking of perhaps if I can get a good price for it to upgrade to the E-90. Only thing is I think I'll miss having a 5 mega pix camera! I think you must mean downgrade to e90. But lets not split hairs.
So, the keyboard is the only major problem? I wouldn't worry. As you may or may not have read, Nokia will be releasing the new N-Gage platform for compatible smartphones (the N95 will be one of them) and the focus on that is the tv-out, playing the 'new generation' games on TV's that make proper use of the Nokia excellent graphics rendering capabilities. If you've at least used your TV-Out to play System Rush on your TV, you'll know what I'm talking about. In fact it a very exciting time, and all N95 users will have this new platform available to them soon.

My point, is, everyone knows that you need a bluetooth keyboard to be able to use your N95 to play games on the TV. You can bet your bottom dollar the hardware market is ready and waiting. There will be keyboards coming out shortly. I think the standard Nokia BT keyboard is out of manufacture now, because it was rubbish. It didn't have any means of 'locking' it (it's a foldable keyboard) into the open position, as such when you would put it on your lap, it would fold back in half. Clearly a rubbish product. But don't despair, there will be more, and there will be plenty. Patience is a virtue. E90 is a brick. Albeit, a very good brick. So, you must choose, but choose wisely!

Thanks for the info! I had no clue about the N Gage platform coming out for the N95! The TV out and gaming are awesome of the N95, overall no complaints. Just a spur of the moment thought( brain fart ). Pretty strange whey the old Nokia keyboard didn't have a lap lock! Guess I'll hang on to this baby for awhile longer then. Love the video record function on here and the 5 mega pixels goes without saying. Only thing thats given me headaches is the GPS, but then again I'm smack dead in the middle of the city with buildings all around which I'm sure makes pin pointing difficult.

You have chosen wisely.

In regards to the GPS, are you running firmware v12? The new A-GPS feature (requires a data plan) should help you get locks even in the city, most can get them indoors!

There are some great PDA BT keyborads out there which may suit you. Personally, I'm waiting for those laser/projection things to come down a bit more!

I'd just like to add that I have been a loyal Sony Ericsson customer since 7 years ago. The other day I took the plunge and purchased my first ever Nokia, I hated it this morning, was clumsy, the camera was poor and the battery life sucked.

After debranding it I think I want its babies! Sony who?!!!!!!

LOL Skorps! Sony makes great stuff but man if I have to deal with another memory card format I'm going to flip! Thanks for the info Gadget! I was looking at one of those laser units myself but wondering when or if they will come out with drivers for the N95, probably not likely =(. In response to Salada2k I do have firm 12 installed. Haven't had a chance to play with the AGPS much but will try to and give some feed back later this week. I'm in the heart of the city and do most of my transportation by foot or subway but it's nice to know it's there if I do choose to go for a drive. Thanks for the interst Scary, but I think I'll going to hang on to this baby for a bit just a wee longer, haven't had too much time to explore it yet. E90 looked interesting with the keyboard but I think I'd really miss the 5MP in the N95. The photo's by the way look even better after the upgrade to 12!
