N81 Thoughts?

Anyone seen the N81? 8GB memory and it looks **** sexy!

Too bad about the 2MP camera though

I agree... Looks real nice- but the 2 mpix won't do for me. I wish the N82 was going to be a slider.

Once you above the 2 mega pixels it's really hard to go back.

Churrahee- The N81 is a slider, but the N82 that is rumored to have the same specs of the N95 other than a zenon flash is supposedly not going to be a slider. I wish it was going to be a slider, despite the troubles with the N95 slider.

Speaking of the slider, I'm curious was that only a problem in early models released or is that still an on going thing? The place where I got mine was aware of the problems with earlier models but told me all the new models released were wobble free??

Don't know. I'm not aware of any hardware revision to the existing line of N95s. We do have two more versions coming out. The black 8GB has quite noticeable changes to the LCD housing on the top slider- so we can hope that any problems that do still exist will be fixed with the new version.

But yes- no way I'm going to the N81 with a 2mpix cam. No matter how nice the thing looks. I'm still of the (minority?) opinion that the N95 is a very good looking device. I really wish the N82 was going to be a slider, with all the specs rumored to be on par with the N95, other than the addition of a zenon flash (and quite probably more RAM- which there will be one or two of the four versions of the N95 floating around out there with more RAM. So...).

You slider fans already have the n95, give the candybar a chance, you may even find lack of slider problems to be awsome.

I*prefer a wobbly slider to a non-slider. I've had plenty of candy-bars. Plenty.
