NOKIA, do your research before releasing a phone. If you want it hardcore testing, seek out the known and respected hardcore users and let THEM test the new handsets rather than your gentle factory staff On the side of the Nokia press conf, check out the DC-1. Obv they realised they're missing out on the proporta's market share. Result? Why bother increasing the battery. Simply make them worse so they buy our battery booster/charger. Now I'm definitely getting "PWND BY NOKIA" tattoo'd on my forehead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

105 Euros for that battery pack, and it's only 2800 mAh.
The lack of a lens cover is borderline unacceptable. I honestly believe that.

Thanks for the link, Churraheefilms...it's a good review....
As early adopters, I don't think we ought to feel bad...the improvements were the result of Nokia listening to feedback from blogosphere and forums such as this one...though I feel that the early adopters should be given some form of incentive...i.e. the opportunity to test out the new handsets? |

I agree. I think we all hate the n95 battery ... but trading off the lens cover for a more powerful battery... bad move.

A agree. I wouldn't mind if Nokia released a device with the specs of my N95, but included a bit larger screen, battery, RAM and internal storage. Call it the N96. Even call it the N95i... but an upgraded model not even six months since I purchased mine? I can't help but feel a little used myself. I feel like the N95 I got was a beta device. The increased RAM for me is what really does it. It's like they admitted that what is in my $700 dollar N95 was a poor decision to start with, so now they're "fixing" it. I know it's not that big of a deal to some people here, but I consider myself a power N95 user- whatever that means. I like to run several programs at one and really demand a great deal from my N95, but my behavior is limited because such a powerful mobile device doesn't have enough memory to fully utilize it.
