Touch screen WITH FEEDBACK! Releasing SDK for PROXIMITY and light sensors? Enabling devs to make full use of the Graphics accelerator! IF they get the design right, I could be bidding goodbye to my N95 sooner than I expected... This is going to wipe the floor with the competition... and for them to announce it, it can't be that far off arriving!!

I wouldn't be so sure mate- I think we need to see a device announcement before we get excited about seeing anything. Remember- the N95 was announced in September of last year, and saw the light of day about 6 months later.
I still think we'll be waiting until quite near the end of next year before we see any S60 touch devices... though I'd love to be proven wrong on that! ;)

Impressive stuff. I love the way she talks about the use of the accellerometer as though it's a new thing and the way she sells the uses of it as though they are revolutionary.
Sorry Nokia, you missed the boat with that one ... I bet you just love Samir for stealing your thunder! ;-)

You pessimists may well be correct, I suspect that it may arrive earlier than you think though... The clip appears to be an official announcement, it's certainly not merely a snippet of information... if there is a 6-months lead-time to this next generation of handsets, then they're giving rather a lot away to the competition... not only the fact that it will be touch-screen but that it will be touch-screen with tactile feedback... Something that other devices of this type have been lacking up to now.
