N96 pictures leaked...?

At least a device labeled the N96 has been leaked at Mobile-review.com. Stefan has the story at Intomobile.com and the images up on his flickr account.

Dual slider. N81 design. No lens slider. No xenon flash.

Hope this isn't really the N96...

It looks legit, but then, so did hundreds of other fake Nokia Nxx's. We'll just have to wait and see.

Personally, I'd wager that it's a hoax, or a mock up, because those shots are way too clean to be spy shots, and not clean enough to be press images.

I liked the N81 for its sleek, compact design - But if this is any bigger, I don't think I'll be fishing out for one

Meh, nothing groundbreaking about this.

No optical zoom, still a 5MP, obviously not touch screen due to size. Unless they have packed something interesting in there - like what? - then its a very boring phone.

Cant see a cam on the front either, which means no3G vid calling. Granted, not the most used thing in the world, but having less on it than the N95 and N82 makes it a step backward.

Well- the whole naming scheme makes little to no sense to me.

I just read that and N9x name denotes new hardware features... wonder what we'd be in for if that's the case.

Exactly, thats why Im so confused as to what it could give that the N95 doesnt have.

Bar a better camera (which it doesnt have), what else can you possibly put into a phone?

Its pretty much covered, GPS, wireless, BT....what else do we use in computers that might go into a phone?

Because I cannot beleive that another flash and tiny plastic thing that allows it to stand tilted counts as new hardware!

Projector? ;)

Seriously though- I think this is going to be some kinda of N82 variant. It's too similar in design, and I just don't see it as an N9anything.

Especially if this was to be the first device accomodating FP2 - What a flop that would be
